Our hotel is conceptualized, designed and implemented keeping the guests’ requirements at the center of things.

Behind the name ….
Pipal Tree derives its name from the most ancient tree of India - The Pipal.  At a time when there were no hotels, it was under the Pipal that travellers found rest and solace. Our 'Pipal Tree (logo)' is a humble ode to this 'oldest place for rest'.
 

Pipal Tree leaves are heart shaped. Which denotes love and care. It always gives shelter to everyone with love and care.
 

Pipal Tree is the only tree which supplies oxygen 24 hrs; which here denotes 24 hrs refreshing service to the guests.

Location

Located in the prime area of Rajarhat, New Town, the hotel has close proximity to Kolkata Airport (just 3.5 kms) and stands diagonally opposite to City Centre II mall offering a vast range of after-work entertainment.

Private Lounges
We believe that when our guests return to our hotel in the evening, they should have something special to welcome them. That’s why we have created private lounges in each floor with a different theme. In one such lounge you might find a Victorian Library cum Reading Lounge where you can relax over a drink or browse through our in-house collection. Alternatively, you can indulge over a game of pool, chess, darts, etc. in our Games Lounge to keep you pleasurably engaged.

‘Ghar ka Khana’
We are aware and concerned about the health and lifestyle issues of our guests. For the avid traveller, frequently consumed rich food can sometimes cause gastric and lifestyle disorders.
So, we have kept the option for healthy eating! This consists of “Ghar ka Khana” : home style cooked satvik food which is made in minimum oil and spices. A typical such menu may have Ghiya ki sabzi, green veggies, salad, kadhi/dal, fulka etc. We can also pack lunch in a hot tiffin box for our guests to carry out in town.

At Tamara, we offer a unique cooking style with global accents and nuances. Our ingredient-driven cuisine focuses on simplicity and purity of flavour. The menu, comprised of small and large plates, starters and sides, is intended for sharing and to encourage a lively social atmosphere. It is an expression of the finest available vegetables, meats, seafoods & spices, nearly all of which we procure locally and at the peak of season. We draw inspiration from each corner of the globe, from America, Italy, and France, to China, Thailand, Japan, and beyond. Utilising these influences, we offer a dynamic menu thus creating a diverse and exciting experience for our guests.

Tamara means spice..Tamara is an experience rather than a dining.. Inspired by the food we enjoyed while travelling in Southeast Asia & other parts of the globe, Tamara’s menu authentically uplifts its inspirations while offering guests the additional delight of family-style dining – food comes continuously throughout the meal and is placed at the centre of table for all to share. With each new dish, patrons are transported to the idealization of a Vietnamese street market or a Thai food stall. Regional curries, aromatic sauces and spices are tweaked to tantalizing effect in our dishes.

This Lifestyle Café offers multi-cuisine non-vegeterian options. Open round the clock, it also offers the best of Arabica beans coffees from around the world and the best Teas India has to offer.

Raya

This Contemporary Lounge Bar offers Cocktails and Mocktails to knock you off your feet. A perfect way to unwind in the evening after a long day!
